what I draw from
what I draw from
I draw from a range of modalities & practices I've studied over the years, and am grateful to have had a number of wonderful teachers throughout my journey.
In May 2025 I will graduate from a three year Research Based Masters in Jungian Psychology, through Art, Psyche and Creative Imagination - The Technological University of the Shannon
Between November 2022 and February 2024 I completed a Practitioner Training with Holistic Therapist and Healer Estelle Bingham.
In 2018 I completed a Yoga Asana & Yogic Philosophy 200hr Training in Chinmay Yoga School in Dharamshala, India.
Since 2020 I have been studying Tantric Intimacy Practices with Londin & Justin of The Yoga of Intimacy.
Between 2019 and 2021 I studied Ego, Consciousness, & Awakening with the Kriya Lightening Foundation.
Since embarking on my Masters my work has taken the direction of Body Informed Therapies, following the research of Marion Woodman, Alexander Lowen & Philip Shepherd.
I continue to be a student, and have immense gratitude for my teachers and mentors so far.
A little more of a personal share on my journey…
I’ve already lived a few lives in this one; I grew up on a farm in Ireland before moving to London to pursue a career in fashion and film, I ended up working with Florence and the Machine, a job that took me on many adventures touring the world. Though from the outside my life appeared as it was all going perfectly, I wasn’t happy, and couldn’t figure out the solution. I spent my time trying to avoid, numb and escape my inner world of anxiety and insecurity.
In my 20’s I went through a big life shake up, someone I Ioved deeply took his own life; it was so painful that it woke me up; as is often the hidden gift of loss. I gave up my party lifestyle, began looking at my addictions, and embarked on a journey of looking at myself in a deeper sense.
I put my life in London on pause to set out on a trip which completely changed the trajectory of my path. I found myself in Peru, living in the Amazon for almost a year, working with plant medicine and stripping away my attachments to the life I had been living.
From there I continued on a journey towards inner knowing, this quest took me on 4 years of traveling and experiencing other cultures, ways of healing, ceremonies, and spiritual modalities. I studied yoga and meditation in India. I worked with different spiritual teachers and mentors to better understand the ego. I wanted to become aware of my conditioning, and the ancestral and collective trauma which formed the lens through which I saw the world.
I studied with the Kriya Lightening Foundation, learning about the subtle body and how to release blocked and stagnant energy from my system and to connect more with the voice of the heart. I spent time slowing down and letting go of the ideas of who I was supposed to be, or what society told me I should be striving for.
During this time of Self discovery my connection with creative flow deepened. As well as a space holder I am a creative, my artwork often focuses around my connection to nature and my love of the earth. I bring this connection into my work with people to create a nourishing and restorative energetic space for their healing, helping others connect with their own innate creativity.
Currently I am doing a Masters in Depth Psychology, and in 2024 completed a 14 month Practitioner Training with Holistic Therapist & Healer Estelle Bingham.
In 2023 I began developing a Holistic Wellbeing Community called Síolta - this space brings together the wisdom of a number of practitioners across a variety of modalities - we aim to encourage co-creation & collaboration across therapeutic & personal growth models, with the core values of accessibility & community building.
Through my journey of establishing myself as a solo practitioner & building Síolta I’ve begun supporting other small businesses & holistic practitioners to develop their brands & get their work out to a wider audience - this work feels aligned with my personal vision of collaboration & the idea that we are stronger when we work together. I believe the world needs more heart-led leaders, and love being able to support those with that mission.
I will forever be a student, and for sure I don’t have it all figured out, there are always new layers to my own healing and self discovery, but at this point I’m sharing what I’ve learned so far with others. I’m living in Cork, West Ireland, and work with people both in person and via Zoom.
If you’ve read this far I’d love to hear form you..
Love Hannah x
